In September 2023 DeSalvo's first solo show, “A Bus Tour in the Woods: Visual Duets with her Father,” took place at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts in conjunction with their main gallery exhibition, “The Day After Yesterday Exhibition: Portrait of Dementia,” by portrait photographer Joe Wallace. DeSalvo's work in this exhibition focuses on an exploration of dementia inspired by a specific hallucination that her father had while experiencing dementia at the end of his life.
